Palomitas con Pimentón Estilo Feria (Imprimir)

Crujientes palomitas con pimentón ahumado español y sal marina, un aperitivo irresistible inspirado en sabores de feria tradicionales.

# Ingredientes:

→ Popcorn

01 - 3 tbsp olive oil (Spanish extra virgin preferred)
02 - 1/3 cup (65 g) popcorn kernels

→ Seasoning

03 - 1 tsp smoked paprika (Pimentón de la Vera dulce)
04 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
05 - 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
06 - 3/4 tsp fine sea salt (or to taste)

# Instrucciones:

01 - Heat the olive oil in a large, heavy-bottomed pot over medium-high heat. Add a few popcorn kernels and cover. Once they pop, add the rest of the kernels in an even layer. Cover the pot, leaving the lid slightly ajar to let steam escape.
02 - Shake the pot occasionally as the kernels pop. Once popping slows to 2–3 seconds between pops, remove from heat.
03 - In a small bowl, mix smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper (if using), and sea salt.
04 - Transfer popcorn to a large bowl. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the popcorn and toss well to coat.
05 - Serve warm or at room temperature.

# Notas:

01 - For extra flavor, drizzle a little more olive oil over the popcorn before seasoning. Add a pinch of ground cumin or dried oregano for a more complex profile.
